The Executive Master of Science in Finance Program at the American Graduate School of Business and Economics in Paris prepares for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification exam. The CFA is the global standard for measuring portfolio management and investment analysis competence and integrity. In the ever expanding world of finance there is growing need for established qualifications. The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) provides such recognition. The EMSF program is closely aligned with CFA exam curriculum. All three levels of the CFA exam material are integrated into the EMSF program. Students cover topics from level I and II in class. Specific topics from level III are addressed in the advanced Finance seminar. Beginning with investment tools and quantitative material, classes explore portfolio management and asset valuation essential to passing the exam. Permeating the entire program are discussions of ethical and professional issues that are essential in practice and for the certification. |
