CFA® Preparation Program Class Schedule

The Preparation program is scheduled around the dates of the CFA exam, which takes place every year in June (levels 1, 2 and 3) and in December (level 1).

Individual candidates

The program consists of 18 three-hour sessions held over three to eight months (depending on the CFA level), based on a schedule tailored to accomodate the constraints of working professionals. Classes meet one or two days a week in the evenings, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Classes are held at AGS, on 101, boulevard Raspail, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris.

Level 1:

Preparation for the December 2011 Level 1 exam: September 7th to November 30th, 2011

Classes will be held on the following dates (a Saturday will be reserved in November for mock exams; the date is to be determined):

  • September 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, 2011

  • October 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, 31st, 2011

  • November 2011 (exceptional schedule): 14th (6-9 pm), 16th (6- pm), 18th (4-7 pm), 21st (6-9 pm), 23rd (6-8 pm), 25th (3-6 pm; 6-9 pm), 26th (9:30 am-12:30 pm; 2-7 pm)

Preparation for the June 2012 Level 1 exam: January 25th to May 23rd, 2012

Classes will be held Wednesdays on the following dates:

  • January 25th

  • February 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, 2012

  • March 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, 2012

  • April 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, 2012

  • May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 2012

An additional weekend session will be scheduled for review and a mock exam, date to be confirmed.

Level 2:

Preparation for the June 2012 Level 2 exam: January 26th to May 24th, 2012

Classes will be held Tuesdays on the following dates:

  • January 24th, 31st

  • February 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th, 2012

  • March 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, 2012

  • April 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, 2012

  • May 3rd (Thursday), 10th (Thursday), 15th, 22nd, 2012

An additional weekend session will be scheduled for review and a mock exam, date to be confirmed.

Level 3:

Preparation for the Level 3 exam will be scheduled shortly.

Group training

Tailored schedules may be organized for groups from corporations, financial institutions or other types of organizations.

Classes may be held either in-house at the institution’s premises, or at AGS on Boulevard Raspail, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, at the convenience of the institution.
