French student loans |
|
Loans are offered up to a maximum amount of 21,500 Euros. AGS students benefit from a particularly low interest rate (see financial aid officer Jennifer Wright for current interest rate.) Loans are backed by French national student health insurance LMDE (La Mutuelle Des Etudiants); in certain cases, an additional co-signer may be requested. Students interested in these loans must speak to the school's financial aid officer once they are enrolled in an AGS program and have arrived in France. The financial aid officer will then put them in contact with a Banque Populaire branch. Note: Thanks to the institutional partnership between AGS and Banque Populaire, AGS students will receive preferential treatment. Yet note that these loans are not guaranteed; therefore, students should not rely solely on these loans in their decision to enroll at AGS. |

Through a partnership between the American Graduate School in Paris and French bank
In addition to the many benefits of studying international relations in a highly specialized program, located in a dynamic city that fosters learning the discipline, my overall experience at AGS has been enhanced by an outstanding administrative staff that is diligent, professional and, above all, friendly. Their tireless efforts are key in making the experience of AGS students positive. I have done my best to thank them with good French desserts and bad American humor!
