Applying to Certificate Programs or Single Courses

Admission requirements

  • Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent

  • Applicants must be proficient in English to ensure that they will be able to follow graduate-level work and participate in class discussions

Please note that acceptance into a certificate module or single course is also contingent on space and that degree-earning students have priority.

How to apply

Applicants for certificate programs must submit:

  • The completed AGSIRD application form. Detailed instructions can be found on page 1.

  • A personal statement.

  • Official transcripts of the applicant's most recently-completed university-level studies.

  • An application fee of € 50, non-refundable.

Applicants may also be asked to arrange a brief interview with a member of the Admissions Committee.

Some applicants may be asked to submit a TOEFL score (Test of English as a Foreign Language).

Original documents submitted as part of an application that are in a language other than English or French must be accompanied by certified translations. Notarized translations alone will not be accepted. Translations do not replace original documents. Please remember to send both.

All documentation submitted will be confidential. Application materials cannot be returned once submitted to AGSIRD.

Application deadlines

Certificate-earning students may join courses up to the second week of classes, provided space remains.
